Neat idea, Battery killer

Instant carpet bombed my standard reading list (Kottke, Daring Fireball, Six Colors), and for $3 I figured I had to try it.

Its a neat idea, but the data is ultimately not terribly compelling. Turns out I actually dont care how often I unlock my phone or which apps I run the most.

Certainly not when I consider the battery life hit. On my iPhone, it accounted for 23% of my battery usage. I cant tell you the last time I was in danger of running out of juice, but every day this week Ive come home to under 10%.

I find it hard to recommend, but if youre a data nerd, maybe itll be worth it to you. Until they fix the battery draining issue, its not going on any of my devices.
